Black History Month Exhibit

“Shots, Strokes, Threads, Volume 2” featuring the work of eight African American artists, opens Feb. 1 with a reception and artists’ talk at 6 p.m. in the Cohen Library Archives, 5th floor. Artists Gilbert Fletcher and Diane Pryor-Holland will be featured.

Other  artists’ talks will take place Tuesdays in the Archives. On February 7 come and hear Laura James and Robert Ross. February 21 will feature Sakinah Northern and Hubert Williams. Nigel Freeman from the Swann Galleries, along with artists Mark Gibson and Frank Leslie Hampton will speak on February 28. All programs are at 6 p.m., and refreshments will be served.

CUNY+ Library Catalog Migration

Starting at 7 a.m. Friday, January 20, the library catalog will be down for hardware migration.  The catalog is expected to be back up by Noon on Sunday, January 22.  We regret the inconvenience.

Interdisciplinary Research Course

A new genetics educational program from the National Institutes of Health, Genetics and Social Science will provide social and behavioral scientists with sufficient genetics background to allow them to engage effectively in interdisciplinary research with genetics researchers.
